I initially followed the word Epic to the source, Long-form poetry of ancient Greek era extolling heroic virtues.
Epic conjures feelings of scale and a Giant seemed appropriate. The most famous giant from the most famous epic poem is the cyclops from Homer's Odyssey.

Playing with ideas of Greek gods: Poseidon/Neptune god of the sea. Also a hipster Poseidon thrown in for good measure.
